Bad wives, despite its redundant title, is still highly regarded as one of the best porn films of all time. Personally I have it a little lower on my list, especially with titles like Upload and the Island Fever series around. This is a pretty old film that went into production in 1997, the same 90's I have yet to bring myself out of. It explores a fairly prominent issue in our culture and backs it up with a decent storyline (Although a clichéd soap operish one not worth glorifying).

Tricia Devereaux starts things off very nicely, and watching her with the glasses almost gave me an Eva Angelina flashback. She may not be as hot as Eva, but you will easily forget it after she finishes giving head. Actually, I forget anything negative about a woman when she is giving head. The sex is nothing fantastic, and the mouth pop to finish made it a nice opening scene.

Melissa Hill and Stephanie Swift participate in a mff threesome, with Stephanie's ‘swift' a word that the cameraman should've learned in film school. The angles are god awful in this scene, and as hot as the two women are, it is really distracting. Despite that issue the scene flows pretty well, but it was a bit of a letdown after the opening.

Dyanna Lauren is your classic pornstar that more resembles a hooker, and has the nastiness to back it up-so no complaints. Her non jiggling fake tits may be a distracting to some, but is easily overlooked by the great location. They are on the staircase when she does the deed and it quickly moves and finishes in the lounge. I should mention the scene intercuts with a Melissa Hill and Tony Tedeschi fuckfest. That particular scene was pretty strong and makes up for the bad camerawork earlier in the film.

Tony gets his number called again when Tricia and Missy need a good pounding. Tricia returns with her best Eva Angelina impression, sporting glasses and a tie blindfold courtesy of a horny Tony. That little bit of a blindfold domination blowjob was really hot, but Missy got lost in the shuffle. She finds her way later on in the scene to a mediocre ending.

The last scene is yet another threesome featuring Dyanna Lauren and Melissa Hill, the setup is long but pays off with a high energy threesome. Dyanna submits to some great anal, and I should note there is a healthy dose of anal sex in the movie. I wasn't really expecting that, so good looking out! Everything ends fittingly with a slow motion cumshot on Dyanna's back, with some follow-up head loving by Melissa.

This would be a good time to address the complaints that have been made in comparison to the VHS version and the DVD version, which people claim lost a lot in the conversion to DVD. This is not as clean a conversion as you would expect, and it is a bit disappointing in some areas. If you are a gamer, then this conversion is the equivalent of a console EA sports game to a PC system.

The angles are not actually angles, and a lot of the really important scenes that would qualify this as classic have been cut. If you look at the flow of the film, it almost comes off as lacking variety. There are several other nuances throughout, but this is not a bad film at all. Maybe I am biased because I don't own the original VHS copy, but judging this on DVD merits alone, it is a solid porno flick. Just not a classic.
