The opening scene is the set-up for the film and whilst we see Drake having a three position fuck with Barret Blade it passes by rather quickly and it's obvious the scene isn't the main course for viewers, it is merely to set up the film for the rest of the acts.
The first client that Drake received is Chris Cannon and his development from love loser to a modern day Casanova is a feature of the entire film and splits up the sex scenes.
The second sex scene of the film sees Drake assisting Cassidey in an almost Cyrano de Bergerac manner throughout her date with Randy Spear and the magic must have paid off as very quickly the pair were pairing off with Cassidey on her knees offering up a blowjob which Spears repays by going down on her, which is only fair on a date. The two of them get down to the fucking whilst all the time, Drake is still listening in on the two way receiver with Cassidey and naturally gets excited by the whole ordeal and ends up attending to herself whilst the fucking is going on.
Its not only heterosexual couples who have relationship problems and the next scene follows the story of two gay guys who are having...nah, only joking, thought that would stop you there, the next scene sees Drake imparting her knowledge and wisdom to a lesbian couple who have a problem in that they both want to wear the trousers and be the boss of the relationship. It was pointed out to the pair that a little give and take can do wonders to a relationship and the scene features countless oral match-ups and the introduction of a strap on.
All the scenes are okay but the film never really gets going and you can't help but feel that with more invention it could have been great. The inevitable transformation of Chris Cannon from ugly duckling to major fucking comes to fruition in the final scene where he and Drake realise that lust and love can go together, which the pair set out to prove by providing plenty of oral sex and fellatio and is finished off by Cannon giving Drake the one genuine sign of love, a pleasing facial.
Jessica Drake is a stunning girl and it is good to see her quite frequently in action but this film never really takes off. If you like a small semblance of plot but no real indication of acting, Dating 101 may be for you but by and large, it wasn't the best film you will see Drake in this year.
