There is nothing better than cuddling up with your chick, talking about your day together, and then turning on the Young and the Restless. Ending, by telling her you love her and then falling asleep in her arms. If that paragraph disturbs your libido, then you might want to steer clear of Flashpoint. Amazingly, this average porn flick is a much overlooked gem in terms of quality.

Sex movies with stories are annoying, mostly because they are half assed. But the capable talent of Wicked (with the help of Adam & Eve) has assembled the most model-like porn stars in the industry. Jenna Jameson headlines, and for good reason. This is when she was in her prime.

My personal favorite Jill Kelly also stars, whom I think is a much better performer than given credit for. Flashpoint is a story driven epic that is something you would usually find on late night Cinemax. The plot revolves around firefighter's daily lives, and even includes some interesting plot twists. Not sure how that will work for all, since I fast forwarded to the nasty scenes.

Before I go into detail on that, I should note that this plays out like a movie. Which means if you just want to watch it for sex (imagine that) you'll need to put down the lotion and skip ahead a few minutes. The first thing you'll notice in the sex scenes is the fantastic camera work, and how fucking beautiful the women are. The entire cast looks great in every position, and with the inclusion of a little lezbo action, there wasn't a single boring sex scene in this movie.

I found it strange that Jenna didn't participate in any of the group, especially since she had a steamy fantasy sequence with T. T. Boy. Brittany Andrews got to work the cooch of Jenna, in a lesbian scene that redefines all lesbian scenes. Usually these lesbian scenes with two feature porn actresses can get boring, not in this case.

Johnni Black is an interesting starlet who joins in on a threesome with Jill Kelly, but is easily outperformed by the vet. The actual three-way is done within a strange dreamlike shot, which may give you a seizure. Or make you hornier, whatever floats your boat.

Look I'll be quite honest and say besides the dream pairings in this movie, the sex borders on average to above average. There really isn't that knockout sex scene that you would expect from actresses of their caliber. But Flashpoint has a dynamite story!

Of course that will sound strange to someone who surfs the web for porn, possibly even border on blasphemy. But when you consider how well they transition the scripted story into the sex, it is all natural. This is sex, but in a...cleaner way. Okay I know I'm not helping, but trust me this is something that you won't see a lot of in this industry.

The extras include very in-depth commentary by Brad Armstrong, which I found almost as entertaining as the movie itself. There's the usual behind the scenes feature, audio bios, and a very unique slideshow that randomly goes in split screen.

Flashpoint is not for everyone, but yet it is a flick everyone should own. It is mainstream as porn has ever been, and although not great whack off material, it has a nice place in my collection.
