Island Fever 4 is a 3 disc set that brings the sickness for a fourth time, with even prettier visuals than the last outing. Personally I am happily Gonzo biased, so this type of beautified porn catches dust in my collection. However, I am a fan of this series. Go figure. What Island Fever 4 does is give you a great flick to pop in the player, and watch with a chick. Watching this brand of porn with your girlfriend shouldn't offend her as much as Gonzo would.

Before jumping into this I should note that the dialogue...is primarily replaced by music. Instead your senses get a workout, with music that accompanies gorgeous scenery. If you don't know where Bora Bora is, then prepare to have a replacement for that trip to Vegas you've been planning.

The surroundings are beautiful, and give a glimpse that shows porn is not that long from being mainstream. Whether it is Jesse Jane's lethal curves being covered in sand and a blast of cum, or Teagan's incredible body emerging from the water and throwing her hair back, they make as much use of the scenery as possible. The music taking place of the usual sounds that we enjoy in porn is an interesting twist in this dvd, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The actresses were actually forced to act-and they did a damn good job. There are a lot of tease\solo scenes before leading up to the action with their partners, whether they are male or female. The pairings didn't cover all I would have preferred, but you know how hard it is to break that girl-girl and girl-girl-girl mode of some pornstars.

Speaking of patterns, Jesse Jane shares THREE scenes with Scott Nails. This would be annoying, but once again the music and scenery saves the repetition. Many of the cumshot sequences are all over the place, hitting the face, mouth, tits, and even stomach. This variety is a welcome addition, and makes for really exciting whack off material.

Everything mentioned so far is pretty standard material, especially since this is the 4^th in the series. This is why the extras contained in the third disc would be what sells this package for me. Behind the scenes footage, confessionals, PC material, and even an entertaining video by Evan Stone. Which is saying a lot, since I usually could give two shits about the guys in porn.

Majority of the pornstars in this flick are in-house, allowing Digital Playground to show off their impressive roster. Kinzie Kenner and Marie Luv are the freelancers, but have enough model features that you wouldn't know they're rentals. Pay close attention to the 4^th scene on the second disc with Jesse Jane, and you'll understand why this series is so popular. There are 19+ scenes, and although they don't make perfect use of the talent, they do as much as expected.

I like this. And not just a little, but a lot. The art direction sometimes is over the top, but in a system where no one would even notice that you added extra highlights to your stars hair and gave her a fake mole, it is refreshing. It is a clean enough dvd to play around your friends, but dirty enough to get you off.

Think of the Island Fever series as a perfect way to teach your prudish girlfriend how to please you, without her thinking you're a pervert. At least for now.
